One of the best and most unique craft kits we've seen in a very long time - not to mention unbelievable value! We actually checked to make sure the price wasn't wholesale cost. The activity works like sand art, but without the mess. Protective paper lets you uncover one section of adhesive at a time. Simply cover the sticky area with a sheet of foil colour, rub gently, then carefully peel it back and voila: bright, glittery metallic colour on your picture. The kit includes lots and lots of 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4") foil squares (rather than a big sheet) which helps keep scratched surfaces to a minimum as you work. It's also a good opportunity for kids to practice wise use of the colour sheets. Although, for this activity, kids don't need to be too careful, because patches of undersized colour can be combined to fill up a larger space.
