Klutz Chalk the Block: Add Humor to Your Neighborhood

Sidewalk cracks have never looked so good! From drain pipes to manhole covers, this idea book inspires ways to incorporate surrounding objects into your chalk drawings, and encourages a whole new way to look at the world around you. Our testers loved it!
I really, really liked the ideas in this book! They make my neighbors, friends and family laugh. I especially love the idea where you just see that humpty dumpty had fallen of a wall, and when you draw it, make sure to draw it by something where he could have fallen off of something. It also makes it more creative, descriptive and funny when you draw egg-yolk coming from underneath him and cracks on the edges! There are some bad parts but the bad parts aren’t that bad, like, the chalk runs out VERY easily and that it is really, really hard to draw some of the things in the book! Overall, I think this is a very fun craft and an amusing toy! - Zoe (F10)
Just flipping through the book made me laugh! The ideas for adding excitement to the sidewalk were excellent! My daughter (9) got to work right away on spicing up the sidewalk. We are on a street that gets a lot of pedestrian traffic, so she enjoyed the fact that a lot of people would get a kick out of it. The rain (though disappointing) helped wash their palette so they could start on a new project. Great ideas and since you can buy chalk at the local dollar store, the book can be used over and over. - Rebecca Young, Parent
