Modelled after the classic game Cathedral, the challenge in this 2 player game is to fit all - or as many as you can - of your Tetris-like pieces onto your playing board. The catch: you don't get to pick the next best piece. The order in which you place your pieces is randonly determined by flipping over the next shape card. The good news is your opponent is placing the same pieces in the same order as you. The only real variables (besides your skill) is which city centre piece you choose to start (there are 4), and where you place it.
Really, really fun! I love this game - it is like Blokus but different. I liked to see how many pieces I could put on the board, and it was frustrating how all of a sudden I have no spots left! The games could be quick, or, if I planned it more, it would take longer to play. sébastien (M9)
I like that no two games are the same since there are a few city pieces to choose from and the order that you put down the pieces is random. It's very easy to learn and easy enough for kids of all ages to play - I played with my F9, M7 and M6 year olds, as well as against my husband! Rebecca Young
Go head-to-head against your opponent in this tactical game of city planning. Draw a shape card and then simultaneously try to fit the matching tile into your city grids. Plot wisely, as you must always have space to play your next piece. Build your city without going over the limits and consider yourself the master planner!
