Green Toys™ Flatbed Truck & Race Car
You'd purchase this truck for the green factor: it's made from recycled milk jugs. And since it's food grade plastic, it's also free of harmful chemicals like BPA, phthalates and PVC. However, our testing parents found it pricey compared to other trucks that offer the same play value, especially as most abandoned the car part of the toy. The truck itself is fine for the one year old set, but kids approaching their second birthday were looking for more details like opeing doors, and a figure to drive it.
A nice big truck and car that is light and easily handled. My kids (M1 & M3) stopped playing with the car, but use the flatbed to haul rocks, sand and dolls. I am not sure this is worth the price unless you really want a completely environmental toy. The toy is used in the same fashion as many of our much cheaper toys. ~ Sarah Pittard, Parent
My 2 year old initially enjoyed fitting the race car onto the flatbed and driving the truck around the room. He lost interest quite quickly, however, and was looking for a driver for both the truck and the car. Caroline Stewart, PArent
