Our testers found either model useful for keeping track of reading time - both for reluctant readers AND for those who might never stop reading without a reminder. Even though it's a little more expensive, our testers defintely perferred the Booklight model. It's actually one of the better book lights we've seen and it does a good job of illunminating the entire page, especially since the moveable light can direct the brightest illumination whereever you need it most.
