Review

Our testers loved the action-packed fun they had playing this new version of Connect Four. You still have to get four in a row, and, you're still trying to block your opponent from doing the same. It's just that you have a lot less control over where you put your pieces because in this version you're catapulting them onto the board. And whether you choose to take turns, or enjoy a simultaneous free-for-all, this game is bound to be a little more chaotic than most. It's a good thing there are lots of game pieces, because with pieces flying everywhere, a few are bound to go missing.

The catapults work quite well - it's fairly easy to land pieces on the board, and even to aim a bit, too. We like having the two levels: much easier to get pieces on top, but less competition and double the points to catapult pieces under the top level to the first level spaces below. A great game enjoyed by all ages.

Tester Feedback

I like that I can play against my brother (9) and still win if I am lucky and the disk lands in a good place.  It's exciting to play. Kaï (M7)

I liked that the rules to this game were easily adaptable for younger/older kids and for more skilled/less skilled players. You can also come up with ideas of your own. In the beginning, when playing with my 5 year old, we took turns to launch the disks, but as time went on, we modified the rules to make things more exciting. Mireille Sabourin, Parent
