It's a pretty doll and the transforming gown design is interesting, but the doll was not favoured by our testing parents who had a number of complaints - including a safety concern. The doll sheds gliitter everywhere, and both the shoes and tiara fall off too easily and therefore are prone to getting lost. Many of our younger testers could not manage the transforming function - or simply preferred the signature dress, either not associating the alternate dress with the character, or finding it less pretty. As for the safety concern, an older sibling (F11) had a sizeable piece of skin cut out by the knee joint - something to watch for when playing with dolls that feature this open knee design.
