Thomas & Friends™ Take-n-Play ™ Rumbling Gold Mine Run
The water tower and exploding gold mine were certainly fun features and very popular with our testing kids, but most of the kids found that on its own, this set is a bit limited in what you can do. As such parents felt it wasn't a good choice for a travel toy, despite that it folds up so conveniently. Works best as an add-on to other toys in the line, or for a younger child who doesn't like setting up track arrangements.
I like pushing the water tower. The ball goes up, and then when Thomas goes over the track a door slips open and gold spurts out. I bet every kid would like this toy. It comes apart when you want to take it off but it doesn't just fall apart. Graeme (M5)
