I didn't really want to play with it. I don't think it's very fun. A real dog is one million percent better.See this family's journal

My daughters (F2, F4) were instantly attracted to this puppy. The battery compartment is easy to reach as is the on/off switch. The puppy is activated by motion or pushing it's back, so very simple for the kids to use. I appreciate that the dog quickly enters sleep mode and doesn't continue to bark. The puppy bounces around in a circle garnering plenty of giggles, but is light enough to carry around and cuddle.See this family's journal

This dog is extremely cute and cuddly. He's similar to the other Furreal Friends dogs (of which my daughter Jessica (5) has 4 of already), but I think he's cuter looking and softer. This one has two sensors, one above his eyes so when you're near him he jumps and spins around. When you pat his back he will make sounds. I found that the sensor on the front is a bit too sensitive because if you're playing with the puppy, it's constantly jumping and spinning around. You have to turn it to the off position, which turns off the other sensor too. All the spinning and jumping gets annoying after a while. Other than that, Jessica (5), loves playing with her new puppy, and doesn't seem to mind the constant motion and noise.See this family's journal

Look mama, she likes it when I pet her back. And her bows are so pretty. Oh, I loooove my puppy.See this family's journal

Bouncy is a hit with my 4 year old daughter. The only complaint I heard initially was that she does not actually "bounce" up and down. Once over that (about 10 seconds!), then she took a liking to her. She loves to show her off to everyone that comes to the house. She enjoys petting its back to hear the different sounds Bouncy makes without the bouncing-around action.See this family's journal

Found the dog in my 3 year old's closet today. She immediately started playing with it, laughing like the first time. I asked her which dog was more fun, her uncle's or this one and she said this one:-)See this family's journal

My two year old laughed the entire car ride home after picking up this toy. My five year old got a big kick out of her as well (and of course they squabbled over whose turn it was to hold her). My eight year old was less interested, but did take a few moments to look her over and tried using her to engage the 2 year old. But within about a day, all of their fascination waned. It has been "left neglected" for several days now. Will try and reintroduce Bouncy this weekend to see if she regains the initial appeal with my three girls.See this family's journal
