Terrain Twister (2012)
There's very little cooler in the RC world than watching this odd loking RC vehicle zip around the pool deck and splash into the water. It certainly gave at least one adult momentary pause, especially watching while it starts to sink - expensive RC cars don't survive a dunk, right? But it's just a brief moment before the Twister pulls itself back up and the cool factor really kicks in as the Turbines start shooting water out the back to propell it round and round the water surface.
This is a very cool and unique design and very entertaining and fun to play with. But it's NOT a substitue for clasic 4-wheel RC. Despite how cool it can be, it just doesn't have the same basic appeal as playing on asphalt, largely because it's a little hard to control on solid surfaces. This RC works best on water or sand, on solid ground, especially grass, it tends to go sideways rather than forward.
We also had durability issues with the built in battery failing to recharge after only a few play sessions.
