Pop & Swap Gym™

The Pop and Swap Gym continues to entertain my child (1.5 months). The toy is easy to set up, but given my son is only 1.5 months old, I installed the centre part of the gym facing the ground (floor) where he lies, rather than facing up as in the photographs. The electronic music can get annoying quickly. Thankfully, there are 2 volume levels. The lights flash to the beat of the music and this does attract the attention of my infant and provide 20 minutes of distraction before my son gets tired. Unfortunately, the toys are all hung at the same distance from the ground, so his little arms can't reach them. There are no toys hanging from the legs of the gym, nor is that space used or decorated in such a way as to provide stimulation. Having said all that, 20 minutes of distraction for a 1.5 month old is good enough to deserve some respect. Rachel Heft

Very versatile. At 3 1/2 months of age, my son is playing with the Activity Gym mainly while lying on his back. Only some of the toys/pods are long enough for him to reach in this position, but it does seem to keep his attention for 15-20 minutes, and the music is easy for him to activate with his hands and by kicking with his feet. Although I find the sound annoying after a few minutes, he doesn't seem to mind. The volume control and off switch are very useful!  He managed to wiggle out from underneath it quickly and has gotten his foot caught in the open frame a couple of times. Constant supervision and re-positioning is needed to use this toy safely at the moment. Tiah Ranger
