




The game starts with a classic LEGO build: you physically build this game from LEGO bricks - pretty cool. But what really adds to the long term appeal is how LEGO-easy it is to change the rules and make new ways to play. It's totally in keeping with the whole LEGO philosophy, "a new toy everyday", except now it's a new game everyday. And of all LEGO Games, this game is particularly well-suited to making adaptions, because there's just so many ways you can change it. The basic game is a Parcheesi-like race to get your token(s) to your home spot at the centre of the board. To complicate things, you've got to work your way through maze while avoiding the rampaging Minotaur. The rule booklet offers some suggestions for rule changes - like adding a green face to the die to allow players to jump over hedges (but not the stone walls that can suddenly appear like magic, thanks to your opponents).
