Our play testers loved the original Three Little Piggies puzzle (http://thenoiseontoys.com/toys/56959/Three-Little-Piggies), and this newest version offers a slightly more more difficult challenge the brainy side of play. We love that there is an easier set of challenges to work through before tackling the more difficult puzzles. The first set of puzzles has players finding a route for Red through the forest to Grandmother's house. Then the wolf enters the game as players are challenged to find two different paths to set up the classic storyline - the included storybook was appreciated to help reinforce the story - no words, just pictures so kids can tell the well-loved story in their own way. The familiar Red Riding Hood story helps make the puzzling challenge a more concrete and therefore engaging challenge, although several testers commented that the Red Riding Hood theme was not as appealing to some of our testers - they liked saving piggies better than helping the wolf. There was also some disappointment that the figures don't fit inside teh house in this toy, so less scope for imaginative play. Nevertheless, the set incldues an excellent selection of 48 puzzles to solve.
