Editor's Review

There are just so any ways of playing with this set! The favourite ,by far, is controlling the flight harness to fly the figures over the crime scene. And parents love how easy it is for siblings to share - either by connecting the two cities to play one big scene, or separating so each child has their own set to play with.

Tester Reviews

KIDS:

This toy was awesome! I loved the flying 'copter! It didn't really fly, but it moved around and it's so cool! So it's awesome how batman flies around. I like controlling the flight by sliding the weight to the top or bottom. I also liked shooting the discs at targets that my friends and I set up around the house. My friends all love shooting the gun and the disks. It's a great toy for boys! It's really hard to find the discs after shooting them. David (M7.5)

I like that Batman and Superman houses are connected together and that they can jump from one hosue to another with the flying helicopter. I like playing with my brother - one house each and we do battles. I didn't like when the helicopter hit me in my face because I was too close. Aiden (M3)

Woooooooooo super cool !!! Thanks mom for getting us this playset !!! Noah (M6)

I like that the helicopter spins and goes up and down like a real helicopter. It's fun to make Batman fly around and knock Supman down off the top of building. I don't like that it didn't come with the Joker. Raina (F5)

I really like that Batman has an elevator and Superman has a jail (the round blue ball). Robert (M3)

ADULTS:

I must admit, I was a little overwhelmed and intimidated at first, but not my boys (3 & 6)!!! They were over joyed. It not only keeps them busy but my husband as well, hehe. I love to watch the three of them play together. This toy is pretty cool and my sons had alot of fun exploring all the trap doors, ladders, the planet and especially the flying helicopter. They just loved controlling the speed making it move faster around the playset, taking a character from one building to another, and the shooters!!! The boys love to play together - hours of fun! The two cities can connect together to make one big one, or they can easily be apart and each boy have one. Very well made, easy to assemble and it works very well with so many different things included in the playsets. Keeps my boys busy. Annie Deveau

My son (7) doesn't even know anything about Superman or Batman, but he still loves the toy! But he has a wonderful imagination, so he and his friends build up a whole story line and have a great time playing with Batman, Superman and all the trap doors, jail and of course, the helicopter and shooters. I definitely like the helicopter flyer type thing. I'm not so sure what it's called, but it's a lot of fun for all of my kids to play with. Even my 16 month old learned how to control it and loves to make it fly. Trap doors are also always fun for kids. They get a big kick out of it every time! My only issue with the design is that the disc shooter really shoots the discs far! It's too powerful, I think. The discs end up all over the room (or house) and they are small and flat so they are very difficult to find. I understand that it adds more fun when the shooter thing really shoots it far, but I'd prefer a little less power. Some parts seem to be not the best quality. One of the green arrows for the gun launcher broke and now it won't launch anymore. There are two included with the toy, so the other one is still fine for now. I feel like I have to give it a good rating because my kids really did enjoy it for the time we had it. However, the safety is a little concerning because the disks really shoot out quickly and could hurt someone, plus the shooter for the launcher gun broke. My kids (F5, M7) really enjoyed this toy. They loved the revolving helicopter, the shooters and the trap doors. My almost 8 year old has a great imagination and played this toy with his friends for a long time. Wendy Krakowski

For my kids, F5 & M3, this was their first superhero playset. It took them a few days to discover all the cool features, like the helicopter, power pads, moving elevator, and trap doors. But with each new discovery, it increased their interest in the play set. The toughest part for me was forcing my son to share this with his sister, as they were both so excited to play with it. The helicopter is definitely the highlight of this playset. My kids love it and spend a lot of time playing with it and working on their flying skills. The copter will go higher and lower depending on how hard you turn the power pad, so they plan out a sequence, like knocking something down with it, and practice that until they get it perfect. The only quality issue we noticed was that one of the projectiles had its end snapped off. I'm not sure when it happened, but it meant that it could not shoot out of the gun. The set is a lot bigger than I expected it to be. When all lined up and clipped together, it is about five feet long and two feet tall, so it takes up a lot of space. I think it's is like a doll house for those who like Batman and Superman. It has a lot of neat features that make it fun for my kids to play with. They can also play with their other little figures in the playset. There are a few issues that I needed to be mindful of, especially since my kids are at the lower end of the recommended age for this toy. I thought the biggest concern was from the gun and disks that can be shot out of the playset. But the biggest issue was with the helicopter. It spins very quickly and has a pretty large reach. If it runs into you, it hurts! Rebecca D'Silva
