Our testers loved the suggestion to use this story-telling game for ad lib bed-time story-telling. But the best thing about the game, is the selection of picture cues. In fact, the choice of themes is enough to make this game stand out from countless story-telling games we've tested over the years. There are 120 in total, offering excellent variety subjects to jumpstart your story. Fantasy: witch, magic wand, alien, monster, etc. Everyday situations: even a toilet. Or, not so every day: like hanging by one hand from a cliff. And tons of other good story-telling elements: cruise ship, lottery ticket, key, letter (with US postage), treasure chest, broken heart, fortune teller, and so on and so on...
We also like that despite the clean-line simplicity of the graphics, there are some interesting details. Like the moon shining down on an abandoned sandcastle, with toys still strewn beside it. Or, a spider web beside what at first appears to be a daytime window showing sky...

The cards were straightforward enough to make obvious story choices (although it would be easy to be creative), which took away some of the performance anxiety that story telling games can sometimes bring on. Golda Wiseman, Parent
