Our testing parents loved that the book uses actual photos of the animals, and that many of the animals featured aren't commonly found in other children's books. And bonus points for using specific animal names, like "Macaw" instead of just plain "bird". The tabs along the top had huge appeal for our kid-testers, and made it easy for them to find their favourite pages. A great book that's sturdy enough for toddlers, but also interesting and enriching enough to appeal to their older sblings, as well.

My son (2) loves all the animals, but he has 1-2 favourite pages which he insists on reading all the time. This book is definitely one I'd like to own in my library.
